What is Humidity?

Relative Humidity (RH) is the ratio of the current absolute humidity to the highest possible absolute humidity (which depends on the current air temperature), expressed as a percentage. A higher RH indicates that the air is closer to saturation, where it cannot hold more water vapor at that temperature and pressure.
Relative humidity is the most commonly used measure in weather forecasts and reports because it gives an intuitive measure of how “humid” it feels
