Move equipment from the low-lying or flood-prone areas. Ensure run-off areas and drainage is clear, open container doors where flooding may result, stack or remove chassis and rolling stock from areas prone to flooding. Advise Employees to avoid flood-prone areas.

All staff should seek shelter. Suspend lift machine operations. Monitor lightning activity, motion, directionality, and speed 15 and 30 minutes into the future, based on distance from the location. Receive cloud to ground alerts. Facility Manager to advise all-clear when safe to resume outside work.

Alert all Automotive units, protect automobiles and equipment to avoid damage, personnel to seek cover.

Safety risk! Notify staff - stay clear of the stacks, don't go near containers. These might blow over.

Ensure employees have appropriate cold weather gear, work inside and in protected areas as much as possible, park rolling stock inside or in covered areas and ensure block heaters are plugged in. Discuss cold weather working procedures with Employees at pre-shift meetings, check-in at regular intervals.

Personnel safety at risk. Ensure adequate employee hydration, shade cover, and breaks. Set up cooling stations. Discuss signs of heat exposure/dehydration with Personnel. Wear gloves when dealing with metal surfaces.

Lower all empty or light containers to lower level or to the ground. Alert 24-36h ahead of time - ideal for prep. Secure any loose equipment.
