Highlights

Enhance Readiness with the Operational Resilience Toolkit

In 2024, we expanded our Operational Resilience Toolkit with features like Gale’s Severe Weather Event (SWE) insights and our new Trends Page for multidimensional weather analysis.

  • Gale AI Enhancements: Users can now query Gale for detailed insights into severe weather events impacting their locations, with expanded coverage in Europe and Canada.
  • New Trends Page: This feature allows users to visualize and compare multiple weather parameters, providing deeper insights to support proactive decision-making.

Tomorrow.io Satellite Data

Building on last year’s achievements, we launched our microwave sounder satellites in 2024. This marks a significant leap in our capabilities, providing global weather monitoring with unprecedented granularity. While we’re still in the process of integrating this groundbreaking data, it underscores our commitment to pushing the boundaries of weather technology.

We’re excited to share that this data will be integrated into our NextGen platform in the near future, offering our users access to some of the most advanced weather observations available.

Empower On-the-Go Teams with Mobile Weather Intelligence

This year, we brought the power of Tomorrow.io to mobile with the launch of the Weather Intelligence for Business app, available on iOS and Android.

  • Unified weather intelligence for on-the-go access.
  • Expanded alerting and customization options tailored for mobile workflows.
  • High-resolution weather layers and real-time radar directly in the app.

Field teams and remote workers can now stay aligned with headquarters, making informed decisions anytime, anywhere.

Protect Assets & Operations With Advanced  Flood Preparedness Tools

To address the increasing frequency of extreme precipitation events, we enhanced our Flood Index to offer double the resolution of previous models. This upgrade provides:

  • More detailed risk assessments.
  • Better planning tools for city planners, emergency responders, and businesses in flood-prone areas.

Enhance Safety and Efficiency in Aviation with Advanced Weather Insights

This year saw significant updates to our Aviation Suite, further solidifying Tomorrow.io’s position as the industry leader in aviation weather intelligence.

  • Flight Schedule API: Expanded coverage for global routes, along with new volcanic ash monitoring capabilities.
  • Above Ground Weather Layers: Enhanced insights for flight path planning, turbulence avoidance, and fuel efficiency.
  • Wind Barbs at Altitude: Greater clarity for decision-making in complex flight operations.

Tailor Weather Intelligence to Your Operations with Custom Insights

We launched the Custom Vector Events API, empowering users to create tailored weather insights and integrate them with third-party GIS solutions. This level of customization enables organizations to:

  • Integrate hyper-local data for specific operational needs.
  • Enhance decision-making with actionable geospatial intelligence.
