The flights, on the same timeline as the weather
This release surfaces impacted flights directly in the Insights Timeline block. The conditions and the specific flights they touch now sit on one timeline — for operations that connect their flight schedules — so the answer to “what does this storm actually hit” is in the same view you were already watching, not a spreadsheet you assemble afterward.
The view you triaged from is the view you send
The second half is just as practical: the Insights Timeline now exports as a document you can share outside the platform. The picture you made the call from becomes the picture you hand to a station manager, a partner airline, or a customer — without rebuilding it. Exporting is open to everyone; the impacted-flights layer is there for operations that feed in their flight schedules.
The difference sounds small and isn’t. When the report is the dashboard, captured, two things stop happening: the hour of reconstruction, and the quiet errors that creep in when a person redraws a live picture by hand. What you send is what you saw — current, complete, and traceable back to the same weather everyone else is looking at.
The weather was never the hard part to see. Sharing what it touches, in time, was.
Asked for, shipped the same quarter
This capability came straight from a customer ask, with a clear aviation audience waiting for it — and it landed in the same quarter it was raised. That’s the loop we want to run: a real operational gap in, a working capability out, on a timeline a team can feel. Impacted flights is a small, sharp example of it, and it’s rolling out now in early access — the kind of thing that’s easy to overlook in a release note and hard to give up once your afternoon storms start naming their own casualties.
