Weather and Climate Security Leader Recognized for Groundbreaking Climate Resilience Technology at 2022 PLANETech Conference
Boston, September 29, 2022 – The Tomorrow Companies Inc. (“Tomorrow.io”), the world’s leading weather and climate security platform, today announced it has been selected to represent Israel at the United Nations COP27 climate change conference in Egypt this November. The company is one of ten delegates, announced at Israel’s first climate tech conference, PLANETech World 2022.
“We’re extremely proud to join fellow climate tech leaders in Israel’s first-ever COP27 delegation. This recognition is more than just an honor—it’s a call to action. The consequences of climate change are already here. In order to become climate resilient on a global level, innovation is no longer an option but a must,” said Tomorrow.io’s Chief Executive Officer, Shimon Elkabetz.
Winners were chosen from more than 100 participants based on a range of criteria, including technological innovation, current/future climate impact, economic potential, and more. Backed by the forthcoming space launch for its constellation of radar-equipped satellites, Tomorrow.io’s weather intelligence technology empowers individuals, businesses, and governments to adapt to increasingly severe weather and climate change through customizable predictive monitoring and automated insights.
“The Tomorrow.io team and product are a true testament to Israel’s current and potential leadership in the weather and climate tech industry,” said Uriel Klar, PLANETech Director. “There is a new generation of Israeli climate tech founders that are driven by the success stories of Tomorrow.io and the rest of the delegation, and they are inspired to build world-changing solutions in the climate space.”
Tomorrow.io will be featured on November 8 at COP27’s Israel delegation in the Blue Zone.
